I have been in the media for more than 30 years. I was the first woman to anchor an evening news cast in Central Florida; during that time I was a news anchor for ABC and CBS affiliates. I also hosted and produced Transtions, Life’s Good with Carole Nelson and produced and hosted programs on radio and TV for PBS affiliates on politics, the economy, world affairs and the changing jobs market. In addition, I have been a talk radio host for WDBO,WWNZ in Orlando KVI in Seattle and WMEL in Melbourne Fl. I spent years in the spotlight and not being born beautiful I had to work hard to look good on camera. No, on TV you have to look great! Today I collect Social Security and Medicare and I am still on TV or what I call the new frontier of TV as the host and producer of two programs on WWITVN. One is focued on health and beauty for the over 55 crowd; the other which is a work in progress, is Carole Nelson Live where I get a chance on camera to give my opinions on politics, the economy and lifestyle. For 30 years I didn’t give my opinions on TV; now is my chance. You might call it Carole Unleased. I am the mother of 3 very successful sons, (one has written a best selling book which about to made into a movie); one is an officer in the military and the other is an entrepreneur in Viet Nam. I have five grandchildren; the oldest just started college. So now it is my turn to share what products have helped me to look good, not 25, but good at my age.Although, my 44 year old son didn’t appreciate it, on a bad hair day I was mistaken for his wife. Of course, he has gray in his hair and I have no idea what color my hair really is. I have never been happier. I think I look good for my age and I want to share and I want to get feed-back.
